We took our classic light bodied cream ale with it’s smooth, silky mouthfeel and low hop bitterness and added another level of flavor! Brewed in honor of Somerset Trust Bank’s 130th Anniversary we wanted to keep it local and in true Somerset County style we used locally-made apple butter to give an added sweetness and caramelized apple flavor to this traditional style ale.
Featuring a roasted malt character that has hints of chocolate and caramel this porter has the addition of oatmeal to add a smooth, rich body. We have added coconut and vanilla to give it an added sweetness and depth of flavor!
A nod to the Oktoberfest celebration in Munich, this classic styled lager features an amber color, with a medium-body and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel with rich malty flavors of bread and biscuit finished by a clean, hop bitterness.
The name is inspired by a cigar factory that called Berlin, PA home in the early 1900's. This smooth black lager will have you thinking about camp fires and grilling or sitting beside a warm toasty fire thanks to its smoked beachwood malt.
This refreshingly tart, lightly soured beer features a low abv and fun color. The addition of tropical punch flavor gives it the bright red hue and fruity taste. A change from the classic styles, this beer can be a favorite among beer lovers and non-beer drinkers alike!
We are going for full flavor with this robust porter! Not quite as heavy as a stout, this porter features more roasted malt flavors than a typical brown porter which is often reminiscent of cocoa. The sharp bitterness of the black malt and evident hop bitterness are mellowed out by the malty sweetness and caramel notes. Get ready to bring on the warmer weather with our “Pacesetter Porter” – we think dark beers taste great all year round!
This classic IPA features malts that give it a toasted, malty flavor with a golden color and touch of sweetness. The Amarillo, Chinook and Centennial hops shine through providing a heavy citrus flavor and aroma with tropical fruit, floral and piney notes.
Sweet and smoky flavors give this light lager a unique taste. This beer was brewed with our homebrew competition winner Russ Klase. Russ' beer was picked by our panel of judges and he came to the brewery to help us brew it. Russ knocked it out of the park with the perfect amount of sweetness and smoked malt. Stop in a try his creation.
Brewed in honor of everyone we have lost, this coffee milk stout is meant to be a remembrance of our loved ones. Inspired by Mike’s late wife, Darcel, this traditional stout has the addition of milk sugar to add a touch of sweetness to balance out the bitterness of roasted coffee. With a smooth, creamy finish this combines a favorite morning beverage with a highly loved evening beverage to make it the perfect blend to use in toasting and honoring those who have passed.
Special collaboration brewed with Quinn Brewing Company from Irwin, PA made for Greensburg Craft Beer Week. This classic hefeweizen with flavors of banana and clove gets an unclassic twist with the addition of jackfruit, giving it notes of citrus, tropical fruit, mango and papaya. It is dry hopped with Mosaic hops to really bring out the tropical fruit and citrus flavors.
The American Brown ale got its start when U.S. homebrewers were inspired by English style beers like brown ales and porters. With a rich roasted malt base that features characters of caramel and chocolate, this ale will have a medium intensity in both flavor and aroma. The hops will give off a low to medium flavor but a medium to high bitterness.
Our Honey Lager presents a unique twist to the traditional lager. During flameout, we add a generous amount of honey made from the blossom of the buckwheat plant, to provide a slightly sweet finish.
This old school American Pale Ale has a touch a caramel malt for sweetness, munich malt for a toasted maltiness and classic cascade and crystal hops give it a pleasant citrus, floral and spicy hop flavor. Sure to please any pale ale lover.
Our latest small batch is an English Style IPA. Using only English malts this beer is full bodied with a touch of nuttiness and caramel-like sweetness. Unlike American IPAs that are loaded with citrus flavored hops this beer uses East Kent Golding hops that give off floral and earthy tones. A somewhat forgotten style in today's market this one is sure to please old school IPA fans.
Clean and crisp just as any pilsner should be. Our Whitehorse Pilsner offers a sweet and refreshing take on America’s favorite style. Lightly hopped and aged with care.
